Jillian T. Spangler, an associate of the firm, has a diversified transactional practice in business law, corporate governance, commercial and residential real estate, estate planning and equine law. Born and raised in Sarasota, Jillian has made Polk County her home since 2014, following her graduation from the Stetson University College of Law, where she earned both her Juris Doctorate and the prestigious Pro-Bono Award.
Prior to attending law school, Jillian received a bachelor’s degree in international business from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and a master’s degree in international business, management and marketing from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. She has put these degrees to good use, holding marketing positions in both Madrid, Spain and Heredia, Costa Rica.
Since becoming a lawyer, Jillian has worked hard to give back to her community. On a professional level, she presently serves both as Treasurer of the Willson American Inn of Court and a member of the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyer’s Division, the Lakeland Bar Association, and the Polk Association for Women Lawyers. She is also a member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Winter Haven, having been named Rotarian of the year in 2017, Chair of Endeavor Winter Haven, on the Board of GiveWell Community Foundation, and on the Membership Taskforce for the Polk Museum of Art. She is a proud graduate of the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Winter Haven Class of 37. For her excellent community service, Jillian was honored in 2018 with the Polk Emerging Leader Award.
